Kat was responsible for designing web components within brand boundaries that were created with print in mind, navigating complexities of endless technical limitations and dependencies, and accounting for the fact that users could combine components and styles in any way they wanted.
She was not only able to deliver what was expected of her, but her deliverables had no hint of compromise; Kat's designs made the brand come alive and provided an exceptional user experience. What really allowed Kat to stand out as a designer was her creativity that was grounded by logical approach.

Kathy is one of those rare, bubbly and eccentric creatives that you dream of coming across. She is such a unique girl who shines in herself, owning all that she is and giving her whole heart to the world and the work that she does. She shows the world that it’s okay to be yourself even if it’s a little messy and that there’s power in being true to yourself and others. It’s hard not to gravitate towards someone with such a bright light, she drives me forward into who I am and who I was created to be by creating a space where people can feel safe to be themselves. I’ve seen the passion, the drive, the diligence, did I mention that this girl is great at time and project management. She really is the best of the creative world and keeps things tight on all the responsibilities and relations that go with that. I have not only had the pleasure of working on several projects with Kat but attended design school with her, she got the honour-roll every single semester without fail and deservedly so! Her creative talent is beyond words and I’m honoured to call her friend.

Kathy Lea is a pleasure to work with. She brings energy and life to the workplace. It was quite a joy to work on the company catalog with her. I didn't have to worry if she could get the job done properly, she did it and at impressive speed. She took great initiative to work alongside others that helped contribute to our bigger projects. Her knowledge of pre-press is exceptional. She had her own connections and knowledge gained from working close with those printers.
